Safety

For us safety is #1. Sequoia Tree Services has a comprehensive safety manual. All risks associated with work are identified by carrying out a site-specific risk assessment and managed by the use of appropriate safe working procedures.  All tools and equipment used by our operatives are checked for safety and are serviceable and fit for purpose. We have a comprehensive safety manual and for us safety is #1.

With a wealth of knowledge and experience. Sequoia Tree Services provides a high standard of tree management services. Our goal is to raise the level of safety and quality within the industry to make it a safer place and to make sure all customers who are looking for tree services are getting a good level of services.

Services

We provide a wide range of Arborist services for all customer types from private households, businesses, commercial arboriculture to local authorities. Our team has years of training and experience in both the biology and applied practice of arboricultural.

STEP 1 – CONSULTATION

Every customer has unique requirements. Before each job starts, we discuss the client’s ideas before suggesting work we feel needs to be done. Based on this consultation, we provide a quote and propose a plan.

STEP 2 – THE WORK

Our highly skilled team will spend time preparing the site and planning the job. We will review safe work procedures and make sure all risks are identified and controlled. In close consultation with the customer we will explain each stage of the job and clear up meticulously at the end. We always make sure a job site is left in better condition than when we arrived.

STEP 3 – AFTERCARE

Whether as part of a maintenance service or simply a follow up call we believe that revisiting the work increases customer satisfaction. We offer flexible maintenance services to suit all customer types.

About Us 
A Long History 

 

Sequoia Tree Services started in 2019. Lawrence Cordell has always had a passion for woodlands and trees from growing up in the UK country. He is a UK trained Arborist and went to college to study Forestry and Arboriculture in 2003/04 where his passion for nature grew. Sequoia Tree Services aims to merge the technical skills and knowledge of arboriculture with a genuine love of trees. Sequoia Tree Services is a team of friendly and professional Arborists working within Saskatoon and surrounding areas.

We prefer to call our tree surgeons by their proper title of ‘arborists’ as this denotes our knowledge in all aspects of the profession including tree biology, aesthetics, climbing best practice, safety and aftercare.

Sadly, trees are often butchered or unnecessarily felled in the name of tree surgery. We have a very different approach. Our Arborists combine experience and passion to ensure that a tree’s natural aesthetic is enhanced.
